- Honey / Maple syrup: 3 tbsp (63g / 2.2 oz)
- Almond flour: ½ cup (50g / 1.8 oz)
- Chopped almonds: 2 tbsp (18g / 0.6 oz)
- Chia seeds: ¼ cup (40g / 1.4 oz)
- Roasted chickpea flour (sattu): ½ cup (90g / 3.2 oz)
- Fleur de sel / Salt: Pinch
- Milk or water: 3 tbsp (45g / 1.6 oz)
- Dark chocolate: 150g (5.3 oz)

- In a bowl, mix the almond butter, honey or maple syrup, almond flour, chopped almonds, chia seeds, chickpea flour, and salt.
- Add milk or water a tablespoon at a time until the mixture holds together like a soft dough.
- Press firmly into a parchment-lined tin — firm pressing keeps the bars from crumbling.
- Chill in the fridge until set, about 30 minutes.
- Melt the dark chocolate and pour over the top, spreading evenly.
- Chill again until the chocolate sets, then lift out and cut into 8 bars.
