Ingredients

1+ 1/2 cup all purpose flour/ maida
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch/ cornflour
1/4 cup milk powder
2tsp of baking powder
1tsp of baking soda
1tsp of vanilla powder

    1. Hi, I bake all my cake in Convection oven. I don't have an OTG and I don't know about baking in OTG. Request you to refer your oven manual

    1. We can omit cornflour if you wanna use xanthan gum. It is expensive. That's why added cornflour.

    3. Hi Maneesha,you can replace cornflour by adding 1 +1/4 tsp of xanthum gum. But add water accordingly while make the batter.

  4. this recipe is for one kg cake or half kg ... thanks for sharing your recipe .. what is the diffrence between using full cake recipe with milkmaid butter and by using premix .. is there any change in taste

    1. This recipe is for 1 kg cake. I never tried with milkmaid and butter, so I can't suggest or say anything on this.
